Joanna Rutter

Posted by Anna at 10:18 PM 1 comments

Joanna Rutter isn't only a talented silversmith, she has a great talent in displaying her products, too. The papercut elements add a second layer to the photos. They are telling little stories about birds floating on clouds, branches waving in the wind and clouds meeting their silver-relatives.

Check out Joanna Rutter's Etsy-shop and blog.

Allover Art

Posted by Anna at 3:19 PM 0 comments

Ruth Jones, creator of Allover Art, believes that art was meant for more than simply decorating walls; it was intended to be an individual celebration of that which makes each of us unique. This is why she’s creating one-of-a-kind, hand-painted wearable works of art. And if you love art, then you’ll love these wearable art pendants, rings, brooches, earrings, and bobby pins that she made.

"Photographed by Liang Su for the Taiwanese creative agency BlanQ, the “24 Xiao” editorial is pretty amazing, tapping into one of the cornerstones of Chinese folktales, and interpreting elements of classical Chinese culture in a contemporary manner. "

Blooming Lovely

Helen Lang has been creative and was drawn towards illustration as it allows her to inject her slightly obscure sense of humor into her designs. She works from a rather lovely studio (from which she can witness squirrel fights in the park) and spends her time developing her decorative line and lettering styles.

Vintage style illustrated necklaces and pocket mirrors

Posted by Anna at 2:50 PM 0 comments

Love these vintage style necklaces with the fine illustrated pendants coated in a high gloss resin. They’re one-of-a-kind and are created by French illustrator, Anne Cresci. Aren’t they just pretty?

Besides the handmade jewelry, you can also find the girlie images in pinback buttons, pocket mirrors or just on postcards. Anyone who enjoys art would find them totally endearing.
